WHAT WE OFFER:

10 Day Trapping Excursion ($7,500 per person)

** We offer a 20% discount for Active Duty/Retired Military, Active or retired Fire Fighters, active or retired Police Officers, (must be able to show proof on date of booking)

DATES:

Trapping excursions can be booked between 15 November and 28 February

** All clients must arrive in Fairbanks, AK, two days before the excursion and depart two days after the last field day.

GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT THE HUNT:

Dead Pan Trapping Company, LLC is a guided long-range trapping expedition. Our job is to guide you in this journey through the wilderness of central interior Alaska. We will be “snow machining” several hundred miles over the course of your 10-day excursion. Dead Pan offers the ability and opportunity to trap in interior Alaska, traditionally with modern equipment and support. Your journey will take you through central interior Alaska. You will be riding through the Tanana Valley, the White Mountains, the Minto Flats, the Sawtooth Mountains, and the Chena River Valley.

NOT PROVIDED BY US:

Flight to and from Fairbanks, AK.
Out-of-state hunting and trapping combination license $405.
Casual clothes for town. Jeans, sweater, jacket.
Clothes for the excursion (see packing list on our website)
Lodging at Pikes Waterfront Lodge (2 days before excursion and 2 days after)

** With 30 days' notice, genuine native-made beaver fur hats and gloves can be made and purchased through our vendor. ~$800-$1000

ACCOMMODATION not at camp:

You will need to coordinate your stay at Pikes Waterfront Lodge. Two days before and 2 days after your excursion. Pricing is subject to seasonal use. https://pikeslodge.com/

Shipping of FURS:

We will assist you in the shipping of your furs, but it is your responsibility to make sure that you are in compliance with Alaska State and Federal Laws for fur sealing.
Alaska Air Cargo flies out of Fairbanks and has experience with shipping and handling of furs. https://www.alaskacargo.com/services/rates

Payment:

We require a 50% nonrefundable down payment on the date of booking.
The other 50% must be paid no later than 30 Days prior to your excursion
There is a 3.4% processing fee that Square charges that will be added to every CC payment.
